This Privacy Policy explains how Homosapien collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Homosapien mobile app, backend services, Health Wallet features, and related support channels.

Homosapien includes health and wellness tools. Some information you save may be sensitive, including reproductive health, vitals, emergency, meal, care reminder, and payment-related records.

Information We Collect

Account information, such as username, email address, phone number, sex, age, password credentials, authentication tokens, and sign-in metadata.
Health and wellness records you choose to save, such as ovulation cycles, health profile details, doctor report notes, birth control plans, care reminders, emergency profile details, meal calendar settings, fitness workouts, and goals.
Health Wallet and payment records, such as savings goals, deposit and withdrawal records, beneficiary details, transaction references, currency, amount, Paystack status, and limited bank account identifiers such as last four digits.
Technical information, such as IP address, device or browser user agent, request metadata, logs, and error data used to secure and operate the service.

How We Use Information

To create and protect your account.
To save, retrieve, and sync your app records.
To process Health Wallet deposits, withdrawals, ledger updates, and payment status checks.

Health Information

Homosapien stores health information only when you choose to add or sync it. The app is designed to help organize information and prepare summaries, not to diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical care.

Payments And Paystack

Homosapien uses Paystack for payment processing and transfer-related services. Paystack may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Homosapien stores transaction references, statuses, amounts, currencies, beneficiary metadata, and related records needed to run Health Wallet features. Homosapien does not store full card details.

Sharing

With service providers that help operate the app, backend, payments, security, hosting, analytics, or support.
With payment partners such as Paystack when needed to process deposits, withdrawals, verifications, recipients, and webhooks.
When required by law, regulation, legal process, security needs, or to protect the rights and safety of users, Homosapien, or others.
With your consent or at your direction.

Security And Retention

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect user information, including hashed passwords, JWT authentication, hashed refresh-token storage, and backend-only payment secrets.

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain records.

Your Choices

You can choose what health and wellness records to enter.
You can sign out of the app and clear locally stored account data from supported app controls.
You can request account deletion from the app or by using the account deletion page.

Children

Homosapien is not intended for children under 13. Some app areas involve adult wellness content and are intended only for adults who are legally allowed to access that content in their location.
